Clubs have to option to either insure all teams within the club on a no names basis*, or individual teams can purchase insurance on a named basis. All teams are limited to 20 players and officials.

*in the event of a claim the claimant would need to produce evidence that they were signed on at the club on the date the accident occurred.
SportsCover Direct also provides Sports Club Insurance which can be tailored to the needs of your football club. Football clubs that own their own facilities can also obtain buildings and contents insurance.
SportsCover Direct also offer the SportsGuard policy for amateur Football offers personal accident and sports injury cover to protect against the financial effects of an injury sustained whilst playing Football.
The policy is valid whilst playing Football anywhere in the world (although it is not a travel or holiday cover - see VentureGuard for this). The SportsGuard insurance is available on a yearly or single day basis and will provide accident cover whilst playing Football.
